Overall Very Good Stay
Spent two weeks here with a colleague as we were working in the Newcastle area. Overall, I'd say the property lived up to expectations. Good communications from the host (Hannah) who was always pleasant and responded in a timely manner. Property itself is located in a pretty good area in terms of it's location, and was clean and tidy, well equipped, and indeed spacious. Some great touches too, like a pack of teabags, cookies, crisps, and a bottle of milk waiting upon arrival. Plenty of toilet roll as well. Really good to see and very thoughtful - Thank You Hannah! The ONLY things I would comment on in a less than positive way, would be the upstairs floorboards are VERY creaky. This meant there was a risk of one of us disturbing the other (we were working 0600-1400 and 1400-2200 shifts). One other thing was the front door. It's not possible for it to be opened from the inside without a key. Ordinarily, this isn't an issue, but as only two of us were staying there and having only one key, if the early shift guy went out and locked the door, he had to post the key back through the letter box otherwise the late shift guy is locked inside if he were to leave the key in the lockbox - bit of a health and safety issue in the event of a fire. Of course, this isn't something that detracts from the overall quality of the property, I'd be happy to stay here again if my work booked it, but as they use a travel agent based in Germany, I have little say in that! So, overall a good experience for the two weeks I was there.

Exactly what we were looking for. Location was great, very easy to get into town, and the off street parking was handy. The property had everything we needed including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living space, and comfortable bedrooms.
